Wedding Trends for 2015 – Fab Florals

Wedding Trends for 2015 – Fab Florals

We have come to the fourth post in our 2015 Wedding Trends series. We have covered the trends for Wedding Themes, Colors and Style and Decor. If you missed any of the previous posts, I will link to them at the end! But now, we are going to cover Florals! Floral Design and Styling is a big part of weddings. Flowers are usually used in bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages, centerpieces, plus they can be used to decorate ceremony arches or Chuppahs, cakes, ceremony backdrops and much more!

In the last post on Style and Decor, I mentioned the trend of hanging. So look for this trend to be incorporated into the flowers as well. Hang single stems in clusters or rows above the tables or dance floor or hang floral chandeliers or hanging centerpieces in place of traditional centerpieces.

Another trend the experts expect to see a lot of this year is the flower wall. Made famous by Kim and Kanye, this trend can be customized to fit your theme and colors. Plus it can be used in several areas of a wedding, like the ceremony backdrop, behind the head table, or as a gorgeous place to take photos.

Floral crowns are something we saw in 2014 and there are no signs of this trend going anywhere for 2015. With the rise of the Boho trend, floral crowns are a great way to add whimsy and romance to your look. We'll see everything from delicate sprays of Baby's Breath to full crowns of Roses.

Peonies, Garden Roses and Ranunculus have been some of the most popular choices for weddings and they will continue to be so. In addition to these garden style blooms, look for lots of fresh greenery. Greenery will help give that wild, unstructured look that is so popular right now. Greenery garlands will also be popular as lush table runners. Add flowers for a pop of color, or leave plain for a "green" centerpiece!

No matter what trends you try, don't forget your Freeze Dried Petals!

They are the perfect finishing touch and are sure to add more color and fun to your wedding or event!
