Petals for Every Occasion - Bachelor and Bachelorette Parties | Flyboy Naturals

We are getting closer and closer to the Big Day! We have been on a journey, showing you how to use petals for every occasion. We started with some of the early life stages such as newborn and children's portraits and parties, moved on to quinceaneras, sweet sixteen’s and graduations, and then we entered into the whole wedding journey, with the proposal, the engagement party and the bridal shower and now, the Bachelorette Party! Or the Bachelor Party, we can't leave out the guys, right?

The Bachelor and Bachelorette Party is a pre-wedding party that is thrown in honor of the Groom or Bride to be, usually by members of the wedding party, to symbolize his or her last night of freedom... which sounds a little depressing, doesn't it? How about we celebrate the beginning of a new chapter as a married man or woman?! The tradition of this party is fairly new... Centuries ago a dinner was thrown for the groom to honor his marriage to his wife, but it wasn't until the sixties that women started throwing what we now know as the Bachelorette Party!

The stereotype of a bachelorette party is for the bride and her bridesmaids to consume lots of liquor and hire a male dancer, but many now are choosing to plan more unique or creative parties that suite their interests, such as a spa day or a day of wine tasting or going out to a fancy restaurant or martini bar. You could take a mixology class or you could get lessons in burlesque or go to a strip tease or pole dancing class. Some couples even choose to do a joint bachelor/bachelorette party!

Whatever you decide to do, use petals to enhance your party! Use them to decorate the table at a restaurant to make it extra special or to decorate the Bride-to Be's hotel room if you are going on a getaway. Take some fun photos with your girls by tossing petals into the air or setting up a photo op area with the petals. You could even use petals for games, for example, as markers for a game of Bride-to-Be Bingo!
