Color Series - Rich Marsala and Bold Burgundy

We have come to the last post in our color series, can you believe it?! We have covered so many gorgeous colors from Lovely Light Pink to Romantic Red, Sunny Yellow to Rich Royal Purple, and even some Beautiful Blends like Pretty Pastels, Sunset Blends and Confetti Colors. So, what's left? The Color of the Year of course!

Marsala is the Pantone Color of the Year for 2015. It is a rich red-brown color that is similar to burgundy. Burgundy is also a reddish brown color, but it can also include hints of blue or purple. Both colors are earthy and sophisticated. They are deep and fortifying colors that exude strength and confidence.

Marsala and Burgundy colors would work well for a variety of wedding themes, from Rustic to Beachy, Vintage to Modern. Use it as your primary color, or use it as a rich pop of color. Pair these colors with sand or tan for a Rustic wedding, baby blue or lavender for a Vintage event or pair with other rich hues, like deep plum for a formal affair.
