Hey Petal People! Today we have a super cute proposal story and Real Wedding to share with you! Shari and Jeremy were married on Dec. 29th, 2015 in Boca Raton, Florida at the Farmers Table Event Center. But before we get into the details of their wedding, let's hear from Shari on how the proposal went down!  Shari and Jeremy Get Engaged!

"It was a gorgeous (but very hot) Saturday morning. Jeremy and I were getting ready for hiking up East Rock Park. This was a very normal hike for us. The plan for the day, or so I thought, was to go hiking, do laundry and go to dinner with a couple of friends.

As we hiked up the mountain and back down it, we casually spoke about his upcoming heart surgery that Monday. (On a side note, the surgery was a success and he is okay). As we got down to my favorite path in the park, I stopped in the middle of the path, looked at him and told him how beautiful that spot was. I told him it was my favorite because if you looked to the left and the right, it looked as though we were in a fairy tale. All you could see were trees and water. It is by far my most favorite part of Connecticut.

As we approached what I called "my favorite tree of the trail," Jeremy slowed down his pace behind me. I didn't think twice about it and kept walking. As I walked under the bent tree over the pathway.....my sister, Jenny, popped out from behind the tree and yelled "surprise"! I turned and my best friend, Amy, was standing there with a camera.

I was very, very, very confused.

As I started to realize what was happening, Jenny pulled me close to hug me. I turned towards Jeremy and he was standing next to me, under my favorite tree, on my favorite path with a gigantic smile on his face.

I then began to get nervous, repeating "oh my god" over and over again....approximately 23 times according to the video my sister and Amy made of the engagement.

Jeremy looked at me and said "I want to sing songs with you for the rest of my life." Then he bent down on one knee and asked "will you marry me?"

On our walk back to the house, Jeremy told me that we were having a surprise engagement party at a restaurant three hours from now and that all of our family and friends were coming to celebrate.

Our engagement couldn't have been more romantic or perfect. So in love."

I just love proposal stories, don't you?!
