Raphael - the dancer you saw on the image - is a principal with our company - he is fantastic, and this role was recognized by international critics as the best he created in his professional career.

Jami, I am very glad to hear you liked the image :) One of the critics' article was titled 'love under the cherry-blossom'... on the photo is the very last scene of the ballet right before the curtain goes down.. in the second act the main character finds himself in the forest of his consciousness, overwhelmed with grief and guilt of the death of his beloved.. right before this moment in ballet her spirit is saying good-bye to him leaving him forever and turning into the cherry blossom that comes down from heaven onto him, the cherry blossom which is the symbol, the embodiment of their true love.. and he feels he is forgiven, and he lets go of his sorrow and guilt... he kneels down under the rain of the cherry blossom, collects a handful of them and pours them all over himself trying to feel each of the petals, each of the moments of their beautiful, yet short love... pours as if bathing in their love, as if trying to feel it all anew, as if attempting to hold on to something that he knows he will never have any more, though letting go at the same time of his fading memories of their time spent together in his world... the scene is so beautiful and so moving.. one can't help crying watching him... Jami, please let's wait a tiny bit with placing it on your web-site.. I mean, of course you will do it, no problem, and it's great, but I reckon it makes sense to put them altogether with some text or press comments, so that it's has a connection, so that it has sense.. also, we are currently updating our web-site and it would be best to link it when everything is set in due quality.. it's a great idea to have it linked to it because then you'll be able to read the reviews and see more of the images in the gallery (we have an english version of the web-site).. Please wait until mid-September when I am back in the office and I will then send you the web-ready images and the press comments and some that might be interesting.. and you'll choose of it all what you would like to use for your web-site.. :)
