Did you know....
The bleeding heart is a playful plant that has attractive mounded foliage with arching stems of stunning, delicate, heart-shaped flowers in spring. It thrives in moist woodland gardens along with ferns and other shade-lovers.
Bleeding hearts grow best in cool, moist conditions...we have ours planted with various fern, hostas, rhodys, azaleas and more. Flower colors may include pink, red, and white. They bloom in spring and they may even rebloom sporadically throughout the summer in cool, shaded areas. The height normally ranges from 6 inches to 2 feet, depending on variety.
Flyboy Naturals farm has amazing river bottom soil...In fact, we have about 24' of top soil...this mean everything is super healthy & grows much larger here...this plant is about 3.5 feet tall...almost double the size you see most everywhere.
Hummm...we must be doing something right.
