Hydrangea Special: Fresh Hydrangeas and Freeze Dried Hydrangea Petals from Flyboy Naturals
Hydrangeas are large, lush, beautiful blooms and they are available now at Flyboy Naturals! They are popular for weddings... Perfect for parties, special events and holidays... And they make great gifts. (Hint: It's the perfect gift for a 4th wedding anniversary!)
Available in shades of Blue, Pink, Green and Lavender, Hydrangeas feature round, globe-like, blooms, that are made up of clusters of many four petaled flowers, giving them almost a lacy feel. They sit atop woody stems and have large, broad, gorgeously green leaves.
Hydrangeas look gorgeous when mixed with other flowers and greens but they can stand on their own just as well. It is easy to create lush bouquets and centerpieces with just a few stems and they have a very versatile look. A few stems in mason jars would work well for a rustic wedding or a country chic party... Place a few stems in vintage tea tins or an assortment of milk glass vases for a vintage themed affair or use blue glass vases and white hydrangeas for a nautical, beach bash. Keep scrolling for inspiration and learn how to care for your fresh hydrangea blooms!
Hydrangeas make great bouquets and are easy to create. Just tie a ribbon around 3-5 stems and you have full and lush bouquets...

The word Hydrangea comes from the Greek "hydor," meaning water, and "angos," meaning jar or vessel, so many people translate that to "water barrel," referring to the hydrangea's need for plenty of water! Hydrangeas will start to wilt when left out of water, so it is important to unpack your Hydrangeas as soon as you receive them, give the stems a fresh cut and place in fresh, cool water. Make sure they have plenty of water and make sure to change the water every 2 days to keep them fresh and enjoy!
We have been talking a lot about Hydrangeas, but I have one more thing for you... If you love hydrangeas, then you are going to love our freeze dried hydrangea petals! They can be sprinkled or tossed, just like traditional rose petals, but add an unexpected texture for a unique twist on the original rose petal. If you are using Hydrangeas in your decor, then make sure you get some hydrangea petals too, as they will put the finishing touch on your event.
